We were indeed gracious to Moses and Aaron, 114 And saved them and their people from great distress, 115 We helped them, and they became victorious, 116 And We bestowed the clear Book to both of them. 117 And showed them the right path. 118 and We left them thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among later generations: 119 Peace be unto Musa and Harun. 120 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 121 For they were two of our believing Servants. 122 Elijah too was one of the messengers. 123 When he said to his people: Do you not guard (against evil)? 124 Will you invoke Baal and forsake [God,] the best of artisans 125 "Allah, your Lord and Cherisher and the Lord and Cherisher of your fathers of old?" 126 But they called him a liar, therefore they shall most surely be brought up. 127 except Allah's chosen servants. 128 We perpetuated his praise in the later generations. 129 'Peace be upon El Yaseen' 130 Verily, thus do We reward the doers of good 131 Verily, he was one of Our believing slaves. 132 And verily Lut was of the sent ones. 133 When We rescued him and his entire household. 134 Save an old woman among those who stayed behind; 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 and, verily, [to this day] you pass by the remnants of their dwellings at morning-time 137 and at night. Will you then not understand? 138

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
