And certainly We conferred a favor on Musa and Haroun. 114 We saved them and their people from great distress; 115 and succoured them, so that [in the end] it was they who achieved victory. 116 and We gave them the Manifesting Book, 117 and guided them upon the Straight Path. 118 And We left for them [favorable mention] among later generations: 119 "Peace upon Moses and Aaron." 120 Thus do We reward the righteous ones. 121 Indeed they are two of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 122 And Elias (El Yaseen) was among the Messengers. 123 When he said to his people, “Do you not fear?” 124 “What! You worship Baal (an idol) and leave the Best Creator?” – 125 God your Lord and Lord of your forefathers?" 126 Then they belied him, so verily they are to be brought up. 127 Except the chosen bondmen of Allah. 128 and him We left thus to be remembered among later generations: 129 Peace be on Ilyas. 130 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 131 surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 Lot was certainly a Messenger. 133 We rescued him and his whole family, 134 except an old woman who was among those that stayed behind; 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And surely ye pass by them in the morning. 137 and at night, will you not understand? 138
