Again (of old) We bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron, 114 and We delivered both of them and their people from the great calamity. 115 and succoured them, so that [in the end] it was they who achieved victory. 116 And We bestowed the clear Book to both of them. 117 And showed them the right path. 118 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon on both of them in the latter (generations), 119 "Peace and salutation to Moses and Aaron!" 120 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 121 Lo! they are two of Our believing slaves. 122 And verily, Iliyas (Elias) was one of the Messengers. 123 When he said to his people: Do you not guard (against evil)? 124 Would you call on Baal and leave the best of creators, 125 "Allah, your Lord and Cherisher and the Lord and Cherisher of your fathers of old?" 126 But they rejected him, and they will certainly be called up (for punishment),- 127 Except the sincere and devoted Servants of Allah (among them). 128 And We perpetuated to him (praise) among the later generations. 129 Peace be with the followers of Elias. 130 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 131 Verily he was one of Our bondmen believing. 132 Lot was also one of the messengers. 133 Recall what time We delivered him and his household, all. 134 except for an old woman who was among those that stayed behind. 135 and We destroyed the others. 136 and, verily, [to this day] you pass by the remnants of their dwellings at morning-time 137 And by night: will ye not understand? 138
