Al-Saaffaat 4 of 5
And certainly We conferred a favor on Musa and Haroun. 114 And We saved them and their people from the great distress; 115 And helped them, so they were victorious. 116 We granted them a Clear Book, 117 And showed them the right path. 118 And We kept their praise among the latter generations. 119 "Peace upon Moses and Aaron." 120 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 121 Verily! They were two of Our believing slaves. 122 And verily, Iliyas (Elias) was one of the Messengers. 123 when he spoke [thus] to his people: "Will you not remain conscious of God? 124 Will you invoke Baal and forsake [God,] the best of artisans 125 who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 but they rejected him, and thus will certainly be called to account; 127 except the sincere servants of God. 128 and him We left thus to be remembered among later generations: 129 "Peace upon Elias." 130 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 131 For he was one of our believing Servants. 132 And indeed Lut is one of the Noble Messengers. 133 When We saved him and his household, every one, 134 Except an old woman who was one of those who stayed behind. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by (their habitations) in the morning 137 And at night; do you not then understand? 138
