And We indeed did a great favour to Moosa and Haroon. 114 And saved them and their people from great distress, 115 We helped them, and they became victorious, 116 We gave them the explicit Book, 117 And showed them the straight path, 118 and left them thus to be remembered among later generations: 119 Peace be unto Moses and Aaron! 120 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers - see V. 2:112). 121 truly they were among Our faithful servants. 122 And indeed Ilyas is one of the Noble Messengers. 123 When he said unto his folk: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 124 Do you call upon Baal and forsake the Best of the Creators? 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 In response they denied him, so they will surely be brought forth as captives. 127 except the chosen servants of God. 128 and We left for him among the later folk 129 "Peace be upon Elijah and his followers!" 130 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 And indeed Lut is one of the Noble Messengers. 133 Behold, We delivered him and his adherents, all 134 Save an old woman among those who stayed behind; 135 and We destroyed the others. 136 And lo! ye verily pass by (the ruin of) them in the morning 137 And during the night; so do you not have sense? 138
