Again (of old) We bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron, 114 and saved them and their people from great distress. 115 We helped them and they were victorious. 116 And We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 and guided them the straight way, 118 and left them thus to be remembered among later generations: 119 'Peace be upon Moses and, Aaron!' 120 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers - see V. 2:112). 121 They were two of Our believing servants. 122 And lo! Elias was of those sent (to warn), 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not be mindful of God? 124 "Will ye call upon Baal and forsake the Best of Creators,- 125 “Allah – Who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?” 126 But they cried him lies; so they will be among the arraigned, 127 except the sincere worshipers of Allah. 128 and We left for him among the later folk 129 "Peace be upon Elijah and his followers!" 130 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 131 Verily he was one of Our bondmen believing. 132 And indeed, Lot was among the messengers. 133 We rescued him and his whole family, 134 except for an old woman who stayed behind, 135 Then We destroyed the rest. 136 And lo! ye verily pass by (the ruin of) them in the morning 137 And at night. Will ye not therefore reflect? 138
