We also bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron: 114 and We saved them and their people from the awesome calamity [of bondage,] 115 and We helped them, so that they were victorious; 116 We gave them the explicit Book, 117 guided them to the right path, 118 And We left for the twain among the posterity: 119 Peace be upon Moosa and Haroon! 120 That is how We reward those who do good. 121 They were two of Our believing servants. 122 Surely, Elias too was among the Messengers. 123 when he said to his people, 'Will you not be godfearing? 124 Will ye cry unto Baal and forsake the Best of creators, 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 And they denied him, so indeed, they will be brought [for punishment], 127 Except the sincere and devoted Servants of Allah (among them). 128 And We left for him among the posterity: 129 Peace be with the followers of Elias. 130 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 131 Verily he was one of Our bondmen believing. 132 And lo! Lot verily was of those sent (to warn). 133 Behold, We delivered him and his adherents, all 134 except for an old woman who remained behind. 135 Then We totally destroyed the others. 136 You pass by (their habitations) in the morning 137 and night: will you not take heed? 138
