Verily We bestowed Our favours on Moses and Aaron 114 And delivered them and their people from the great affliction. 115 And We succoured them so that they became overcomers. 116 We granted them a Clear Book, 117 And showed them the right path. 118 And We left for them (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 119 "Peace and salutation to Moses and Aaron!" 120 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 121 Lo! they are two of Our believing slaves. 122 Surely, Elias too was among the Messengers. 123 Behold, he said to his people, "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 124 Do you call on Baal, and abandon the Best of creators? 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients?' 126 They denied him, and will surely be brought to punishment, 127 except the chosen servants of God. 128 And we left for him among the later folk (the salutation): 129 Peace be upon Elias. 130 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 131 Indeed, he was of Our believing servants. 132 And indeed, Lot was among the messengers. 133 [So mention] when We saved him and his family, all, 134 save an old woman among those that tarried; 135 then We destroyed the others, 136 You pass by their ruins morning 137 and in the night; will you not understand? 138
