We also favoured Moses and Aaron, 114 And delivered them and their people from the great affliction. 115 And helped them, so they were victorious. 116 And We bestowed the clear Book to both of them. 117 and guided them in the straight path, 118 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon on both of them in the latter (generations), 119 Peace be with Moses and Aaron. 120 This is how We reward the virtuous. 121 Indeed, they were of Our believing servants. 122 Elijah too was one of the messengers. 123 Behold, he said to his people, "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 124 Will ye cry unto Baal and forsake the Best of creators, 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 They called him a liar. Thus, all of them will suffer torment 127 But not the servants of Allah, the purified ones. 128 And We perpetuated to him (praise) among the later generations. 129 Peace be on Elias. 130 This is how We reward the virtuous. 131 Lo! he is one of our believing slaves. 132 Lot was also one of the messengers. 133 When We saved him and his family, all, 134 except an old woman who lingered, 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And surely ye pass by them in the morning. 137 And at night-time; have ye then no sense? 138
