And, indeed We gave Our Grace to Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron). 114 And We saved them and their people from the great affliction, 115 And helped them so that they became the victors. 116 We granted them a Clear Book, 117 And guided them to the Right Path; 118 and left them thus to be remembered among later generations: 119 Peace be upon Moses and Aaron. 120 That is how We reward those who do good. 121 They were among Our believing worshipers. 122 And lo! Elias was of those sent (to warn), 123 When he said to his people: Do you not guard (against evil)? 124 What! do you call upon Ba'l and forsake the best of the creators, 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers?" 126 But they called him a liar, therefore they shall most surely be brought up. 127 But not the servants of Allah, the purified ones. 128 And We left for him [favorable mention] among later generations: 129 Salamun (peace) be upon Ilyasin (Elias)!" 130 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers, who perform good deeds totally for Allah's sake only - see V. 2:112). 131 He is truly among Our faithful devotees. 132 Lot too was one of the Envoys; 133 Behold, We delivered him and his adherents, all 134 Except an old woman (his wife) who was among those who remained behind. 135 Then We totally destroyed the others. 136 And indeed, you pass by them in the morning 137 And at night. Will ye not therefore reflect? 138

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
