And We indeed did a great favour to Moosa and Haroon. 114 and We delivered both of them and their people from the great calamity. 115 And We helped them, so they were victorious. 116 We gave them the explicit Book, 117 And showed them the right path. 118 and left them thus to be remembered among later generations: 119 Peace be on Musa and Haroun. 120 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 121 Surely they were both of Our believing servants. 122 And indeed Ilyas is one of the Noble Messengers. 123 Behold, he said to his people, "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 124 "Will you call upon Ba'l (a well- known idol of his nation whom they used to worship) and forsake the Best of creators, 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers?" 126 Then they belied him, so verily they are to be brought up. 127 except the sincere servants of God. 128 And we left for him among the later folk (the salutation): 129 Salamun (peace) be upon Ilyasin (Elias)!" 130 Verily, thus do We reward the doers of good 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 And Lot too was one of the Messengers. 133 When We rescued him and his entire household. 134 Except an old woman (his wife) who was among those who remained behind. 135 and We destroyed the others. 136 Verily, you pass by them in the morning. 137 And at night-time; have ye then no sense? 138
