We were indeed gracious to Moses and Aaron, 114 and We saved them with their nation from a great distress. 115 And We helped them, so they overcame (their troubles); 116 We gave them the enlightening Book, 117 And showed them the right path. 118 And left (their remembrance) for posterity. 119 'Peace be upon Moses and Aaron' 120 This is how We reward the virtuous. 121 For they were two of our believing Servants. 122 And indeed Ilyas is one of the Noble Messengers. 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Would you call on Baal and leave the best of creators, 125 "Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 Then they belied him, so verily they are to be brought up. 127 except the sincere servants of God. 128 We perpetuated his praise in the later generations. 129 'Peace be upon El Yaseen' 130 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 131 He is indeed one of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 132 Lot was certainly a Messenger. 133 We saved him and all his people, 134 except for an old woman who remained behind. 135 Then We destroyed the rest. 136 And surely ye pass by them in the morning. 137 and by night. Will you not, then, use your reason? 138
