THUS, INDEED, did We bestow Our favour upon Moses and Aaron; 114 And delivered them and their people from the great affliction. 115 And We helped them, so they were victorious. 116 And We gave them the divine writ that made [right and wrong] distinct, 117 And We guided them to the Straight Way. 118 And We perpetuated (praise) to them among the later generations. 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 121 Surely they were both of Our believing servants. 122 Surely, Elias too was among the Messengers. 123 when he spoke [thus] to his people: "Will you not remain conscious of God? 124 Would you call on Baal and leave the best of creators, 125 who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they belied him, so they will be among the arraigned (in Hell), 127 except for God's sincere servants; 128 And We left (this blessing) for him among generations (to come) in later times: 129 Peace be on Ilyas. 130 That is how We reward those who do good. 131 Indeed, he was of Our believing servants. 132 Lot too was one of the Envoys; 133 when We delivered him and his people all together, 134 Except an old woman who was among those who lagged behind: 135 Then We destroyed the rest [i.e. the towns of Sodom at the place of the Dead Sea (now) in Palestine].
