We were indeed gracious to Moses and Aaron, 114 And delivered them and their people from the great affliction. 115 And helped them, so that they became the victors; 116 and We gave them the Manifesting Book, 117 And guided them to the Straight Path. 118 And We left (this blessing) for them among generations (to come) in later times: 119 Peace be on Musa and Haroun. 120 This is how We reward the virtuous. 121 truly they were among Our faithful servants. 122 And indeed Ilyas is one of the Noble Messengers. 123 (Call to mind) when he said to his people: “Will you not fear Allah? 124 Will you invoke Baal and forsake [God,] the best of artisans 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers?" 126 They denied him, and will surely be brought to punishment, 127 excepting only [those who were] God's true servants; 128 We preserved a good name for him among posterity. 129 Peace be on Elias. 130 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 And verily Lut was of the sent ones. 133 When We delivered him and his followers, all-- 134 Except an old woman (who was) amongst those who tarried. 135 and then We utterly destroyed the others: 136 and you pass by them in the morning 137 and by night. Will you not, then, use your reason? 138
