And, indeed We gave Our Grace to Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron). 114 And saved them and their people from great distress, 115 And We helped them, so that they were the victors; 116 And We gave them the divine writ that made [right and wrong] distinct, 117 And We guided them both on the right way. 118 And We left (this blessing) for them among generations (to come) in later times: 119 "Peace and salutation to Moses and Aaron!" 120 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 121 They were among Our believing worshipers. 122 And verily, Iliyas (Elias) was one of the Messengers. 123 when he said to his people, 'Will you not be godfearing? 124 Do you call on Ba'lan (the idol Baal) and abandon the Best Creator, 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers?" 126 But they denied him [Iliyas (Elias)], so they will certainly be brought forth (to the punishment), 127 except Allah's chosen servants. 128 We left him thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among the following generations -- 129 "Peace be upon Elijah and his followers!" 130 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 131 surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 Lot, too, was among the Messengers. 133 Wherefore We saved him and his entire family 134 Except an old woman (who was) amongst those who tarried. 135 Then We destroyed the rest. 136 and, verily, [to this day] you pass by the remnants of their dwellings at morning-time 137 And at night. Will ye not therefore reflect? 138
