We were indeed gracious to Moses and Aaron, 114 And saved them and their people from the great distress, 115 We helped them, and they became victorious, 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture 117 And We guided them on the straight path. 118 and perpetuated their praise in later generations. 119 Peace be upon Moses and Aaron. 120 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 121 truly they were among Our faithful servants. 122 And verily, llyas was one of the sent ones. 123 Behold, he said to his people, "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 124 Will you invoke Baal and forsake [God,] the best of artisans 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your fathers of yore? 126 In response they denied him, so they will surely be brought forth as captives. 127 except Allah's chosen servants. 128 And We left for him among the posterity: 129 Peace be unto Elias! 130 In this way do We reward the righteous ones. 131 he was among Our believing servants. 132 Verily Lot was one of the apostles, 133 When We saved him and his family, all, 134 except for an old woman who was among those that stayed behind. 135 Then We destroyed the rest [i.e. the towns of Sodom at the place of the Dead Sea (now) in Palestine].
