We were indeed gracious to Moses and Aaron, 114 And delivered them and their people from the great affliction. 115 And We helped them, so they overcame (their troubles); 116 We gave them the explicit Book, 117 And We guided them both on the right way. 118 And We left for them (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 119 "Peace upon Moses and Aaron." 120 Thus do We reward the righteous ones. 121 They were two of Our believing servants. 122 Elijah too was one of the messengers. 123 Behold, he said to his people, "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 124 "Will ye call upon Baal and forsake the Best of Creators,- 125 "Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they denied him, so they surely will be haled forth (to the doom) 127 Except the chosen servants of Allah. 128 We preserved a good name for him among posterity. 129 'Peace be upon Elias!' 130 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 131 for he was truly one of Our believing servants! 132 AND, BEHOLD, Lot was indeed one of Our message-bearers; 133 Recall what time We delivered him and his household, all. 134 except for an old woman who stayed behind, 135 Then We annihilated the others. 136 And indeed you pass over them in the morning. – 137 And at night; do you not then understand? 138
