Again (of old) We bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron, 114 And We saved them and their people from the great distress; 115 and succoured them, so that [in the end] it was they who achieved victory. 116 And We vouchsafed unto the twain a Book luminous. 117 And We guided them on the straight path. 118 and preserved for them a good name among posterity. 119 "Peace and salutation to Moses and Aaron!" 120 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 121 for those two were truly among Our believing servants. 122 Elias was certainly a Messenger. 123 Recall what time he said unto his people: fear ye not? 124 Will ye cry unto Baal and forsake the Best of creators, 125 God, your Sustainer and the Sustainer of your forebears of old?" 126 They called him a liar. Thus, all of them will suffer torment 127 except Allah's chosen servants. 128 And we left for him among the later folk (the salutation): 129 Peace be upon Ilyas! 130 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 131 Surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 Verily Lot was one of the apostles, 133 (Call to mind) when We delivered him and all his kinsfolk, 134 except for an old woman who stayed behind, 135 Then We annihilated the others. 136 And indeed you pass over them in the morning. – 137 and by night. Will you not, then, use your reason? 138
