We also favored Moses and Aaron 114 and We delivered both of them and their people from the great calamity. 115 We succoured them, and they gained the upper hand (against their enemies). 116 We gave them the explicit Book, 117 and guided them to the straight path; 118 and left for them among the later folk 119 Peace be upon Moses and Aaron. 120 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 121 Lo! they are two of Our believing slaves. 122 And indeed, Elias was from among the messengers, 123 when he said to his people, 'Will you not be godfearing? 124 Would you call on Baal and leave the best of creators, 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your ancestors of yore.” 126 But they denied him [Iliyas (Elias)], so they will certainly be brought forth (to the punishment), 127 Except the chosen servants of Allah. 128 And We left for him (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 129 Peace be with the followers of Elias. 130 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 131 for he was truly one of Our believing servants! 132 And verily Lut was of the sent ones. 133 When We saved him and his family, all, 134 except an old woman who was among those that stayed behind; 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 and you pass by them in the morning 137 And during the night; so do you not have sense? 138
