We also favored Moses and Aaron 114 And rescued them and their people from the great calamity. 115 And helped them, so that they became the victors; 116 and We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 And We guided them on the straight path. 118 And We left for them (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 119 Peace be with Moses and Aaron. 120 Thus do We reward the doers of good 121 Verily! They were two of Our believing slaves. 122 And lo! Elias was of those sent (to warn), 123 when he said to his people, 'Will you not be godfearing? 124 What! do you call upon Ba'l and forsake the best of the creators, 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients?' 126 But they gave him the lie: and therefore they will most surely be arraigned [on Judgment Day,] 127 Except the sincere and devoted Servants of Allah (among them). 128 We perpetuated his praise in the later generations. 129 Peace be unto Elyasin. 130 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 131 He was among Our believing worshipers. 132 Lot, too, was among the Messengers. 133 We saved him and all his kinsmen, 134 Except an old woman, who became of those who stayed behind. 135 then We destroyed the others, 136 and you pass by them in the morning 137 and in the night; will you not understand? 138
