And assuredly We gave grace unto Musa and Harun. 114 And We saved them and their people from the great affliction, 115 And We helped them, so they overcame (their troubles); 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture; 117 and guided them the straight way, 118 And We perpetuated (praise) to them among the later generations. 119 Salamun (peace) be upon Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron)!" 120 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers - see V. 2:112). 121 Surely both of them were among Our believing servants. 122 And indeed, Elias was from among the messengers, 123 When he said to his people, “Do you not fear?” 124 Will ye cry unto Baal and forsake the Best of creators, 125 who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they rejected him, and they will certainly be called up (for punishment),- 127 Except the chosen bondmen of Allah. 128 We perpetuated his praise in the later generations. 129 Peace be on Elias. 130 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 131 Verily, he was one of Our believing slaves. 132 Lot, too, was among the Messengers. 133 [and so,] when [We decreed the doom of his sinful town,] We saved him and his household, 134 except for an old woman who remained behind. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And lo! ye verily pass by (the ruin of) them in the morning 137 and at night, will you not understand? 138
