THUS, INDEED, did We bestow Our favour upon Moses and Aaron; 114 And We delivered them and their people from (their) Great Calamity; 115 and We helped them, so that they were victorious; 116 and We gave them the Clear Book, 117 And guided them to the Straight Path. 118 And We left for them [favorable mention] among later generations: 119 Peace be upon Moses and Aaron. 120 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 121 Surely both of them were among Our believing servants. 122 Elijah too was one of the messengers. 123 Behold, he said to his people, "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 124 Do you worship Ba`al and abandon the Best Creator. 125 "Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 And they denied him, so indeed, they will be brought [for punishment], 127 except the chosen servants of God. 128 And We left for him [favorable mention] among later generations: 129 "Peace and salutation to such as Elias!" 130 Verily, thus do We reward the doers of good 131 Surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 And verily Lut was of the sent ones. 133 Recall what time We delivered him and his household, all. 134 except for an old woman who was among those that stayed behind. 135 and We destroyed the others. 136 Verily, you pass by them in the morning. 137 And at night; will you not then reflect? 138
