We also favoured Moses and Aaron, 114 And delivered them and their people from the great affliction. 115 And We helped them, so they were victorious. 116 and We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 and showed them the Straight Way, 118 and left them thus to be remembered among later generations: 119 'Peace be upon Moses and Aaron' 120 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 121 truly they were among Our faithful servants. 122 And lo! Elias was of those sent (to warn), 123 When he said unto his folk: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 124 Would you call on Baal and leave the best of creators, 125 "Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 They denied him, and will surely be brought to punishment, 127 except the sincere worshipers of Allah. 128 and We left for him among the later folk 129 Peace be on Elias. 130 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 131 he was among Our believing servants. 132 And Lot too was one of the Messengers. 133 We saved him and all his kinsmen, 134 except for an old woman who stayed behind, 135 Then We annihilated the others. 136 And surely ye pass by them in the morning. 137 And by night: will ye not understand? 138
