We also favored Moses and Aaron 114 And We saved them and their people from the great distress; 115 And We supported them so it was they who overcame. 116 And We vouchsafed unto the twain a Book luminous. 117 And guided them to the Right Path; 118 and We left them thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among later generations: 119 Peace be upon Moosa and Haroon! 120 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 121 for those two were truly among Our believing servants. 122 Surely, Elias too was among the Messengers. 123 He said to his people, "Have you no fear [of God?] 124 Do you call on Ba'lan (the idol Baal) and abandon the Best Creator, 125 "Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they denounced him as a liar, so they will surely be arraigned (for punishment), 127 Except the sincere and devoted Servants of Allah (among them). 128 We preserved a good name for him among posterity. 129 Peace be on Elias. 130 Verily, thus do We reward the doers of good 131 For he was one of our believing Servants. 132 Lot, too, was among the Messengers. 133 [So mention] when We saved him and his family, all, 134 Except an old woman who was among those who lagged behind: 135 then We destroyed the others, 136 You pass by (their habitations) in the morning 137 And at night. Will ye not therefore reflect? 138

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
