We also favoured Moses and Aaron, 114 and We delivered both of them and their people from the great calamity. 115 and We helped them, so that they were victorious; 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture; 117 and guided them in the straight path, 118 And We perpetuated (praise) to them among the later generations. 119 "Peace upon Moses and Aaron." 120 Thus do We reward the righteous ones. 121 Lo! they are two of Our believing slaves. 122 Surely, Elias too was among the Messengers. 123 (Call to mind) when he said to his people: “Will you not fear Allah? 124 "Will ye call upon Baal and forsake the Best of Creators,- 125 "Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 They called him a liar. Thus, all of them will suffer torment 127 except the sincere servants of God. 128 And We left (this blessing) for him among generations (to come) in later times: 129 Peace be with the followers of Elias. 130 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 131 he was among Our believing servants. 132 Lot was also one of the messengers. 133 When We delivered him and his followers, all-- 134 Save an old woman among those who stayed behind; 135 Then We destroyed the rest [i.e. the towns of Sodom at the place of the Dead Sea (now) in Palestine].
