THUS, INDEED, did We bestow Our favour upon Moses and Aaron; 114 And We saved them and their people from the great distress; 115 And helped them so that they became the victors. 116 And We gave them both the Book that made (things) clear. 117 guided them to the right path, 118 and left for them among the later folk 119 Peace be upon Moosa and Haroon! 120 That is how We reward those who do good. 121 truly they were among Our faithful servants. 122 AND, BEHOLD, Elijah [too] was indeed one of Our message-bearers 123 He said to his people, "Have you no fear [of God?] 124 Do you call on Baal and abandon the Best of Creators, 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers?" 126 And they denied him, so indeed, they will be brought [for punishment], 127 But not the servants of Allah, the purified ones. 128 And We left his (memory) for posterity. 129 'Peace be upon El Yaseen' 130 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers, who perform good deeds totally for Allah's sake only - see V. 2:112). 131 Lo! he is one of our believing slaves. 132 And indeed, Lot was among the messengers. 133 When We saved him and his household, every one, 134 Save an old woman among those who stayed behind; 135 Then We annihilated the others. 136 And surely ye pass by them in the morning. 137 Or at night. Then how is it you do not understand? 138
