Again (of old) We bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron, 114 And rescued them and their people from the great calamity. 115 And We helped them, so they were the vanquishers. 116 and We gave them the Clear Book, 117 And We guided them to the Straight Way. 118 And We left for them among the later folk (the salutation): 119 Peace be upon Moosa and Haroon! 120 This is how We reward those who do good: 121 Surely they were both of Our believing servants. 122 So also was Elias among those sent (by Us). 123 Behold, he said to his people, "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 124 “What! You worship Baal (an idol) and leave the Best Creator?” – 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 But they gave him the lie: and therefore they will most surely be arraigned [on Judgment Day,] 127 except the sincere servants of God. 128 And We kept his praise among the latter generations. 129 "Peace be on Elijah and his people!" 130 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 131 He was among Our believing worshipers. 132 AND, BEHOLD, Lot was indeed one of Our message-bearers; 133 We saved him and all his people, 134 except for an old woman who remained behind. 135 Then We destroyed the rest [i.e. the towns of Sodom at the place of the Dead Sea (now) in Palestine].
