And certainly We conferred a favor on Musa and Haroun. 114 and We delivered both of them and their people from the great calamity. 115 and We helped them, so that they were victorious; 116 We granted them a Clear Book, 117 And We led the twain on unto the straight path. 118 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon on both of them in the latter (generations), 119 Peace be on Moses and Aaron. 120 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 121 Indeed, they were of Our believing servants. 122 Elias too was one of the Envoys; 123 Recall what time he said unto his people: fear ye not? 124 "Will you call upon Ba'l (a well- known idol of his nation whom they used to worship) and forsake the Best of creators, 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers?" 126 And they denied him, so indeed, they will be brought [for punishment], 127 Except the chosen creatures of God. 128 And we left for him among the later folk (the salutation): 129 Peace be on Elias. 130 That is how We reward those who do good. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 And lo! Lot verily was of those sent (to warn). 133 (Call to mind) when We delivered him and all his kinsfolk, 134 Save an old woman among those who stayed behind; 135 We then destroyed the others. 136 And most surely you pass by them in the morning, 137 and night: will you not take heed? 138
