Al-Saaffaat 4 of 5
And assuredly We gave grace unto Musa and Harun. 114 And We saved them and their people from the great distress; 115 We helped them, and they became victorious, 116 And We vouchsafed unto the twain a Book luminous. 117 And We guided them both on the right way. 118 And We left for the twain among the posterity: 119 Peace be upon Moosa and Haroon! 120 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 121 Surely they were both of Our believing servants. 122 Elias was certainly a Messenger. 123 He told his people, "Why do you not have fear of God? 124 “What! You worship Baal (an idol) and leave the Best Creator?” – 125 God your Lord and Lord of your forefathers?" 126 In response they denied him, so they will surely be brought forth as captives. 127 except the sincere worshipers of Allah. 128 And We perpetuated to him (praise) among the later generations. 129 "Peace be upon Elijah and his followers!" 130 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 131 For he was one of our believing Servants. 132 And lo! Lot verily was of those sent (to warn). 133 [So mention] when We saved him and his family, all, 134 Save an old woman among the lingerers. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 and you pass by them in the morning 137 Or at night. Then how is it you do not understand? 138
