We also favored Moses and Aaron 114 and We saved them with their nation from a great distress. 115 And helped them, so that they became the victors; 116 We granted them a Clear Book, 117 And We guided them on the straight path. 118 and left them thus to be remembered among later generations: 119 Peace be unto Musa and Harun. 120 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 121 They were two of Our believing servants. 122 And verily, Iliyas (Elias) was one of the Messengers. 123 He asked his people: 'Do you not fear (Allah)? 124 Do you call on Baal, and abandon the Best of creators? 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your fathers of yore? 126 but they rejected him, and thus will certainly be called to account; 127 Save single-minded slaves of Allah. 128 And we left for him among the later folk (the salutation): 129 Peace be upon Ilyas! 130 This is how We reward the virtuous. 131 Verily, he was one of Our believing slaves. 132 Verily Lot was one of the apostles, 133 Wherefore We saved him and his entire family 134 Save an old woman among those who stayed behind; 135 and We destroyed the others. 136 And surely ye pass by them in the morning. 137 and in the night; will you not understand? 138
