And We indeed did a great favour to Moosa and Haroon. 114 We saved them and their people from great distress; 115 And We helped them, so they overcame (their troubles); 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture; 117 and guided them in the straight path, 118 and left for them among the later folk 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers - see V. 2:112). 121 truly they were among Our faithful servants. 122 So also was Elias among those sent (by Us). 123 when he said to his people, 'Will you not be godfearing? 124 “What! You worship Baal (an idol) and leave the Best Creator?” – 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients?' 126 But they gave him the lie: and therefore they will most surely be arraigned [on Judgment Day,] 127 But not the servants of Allah, the purified ones. 128 We perpetuated his praise in the later generations. 129 Salamun (peace) be upon Ilyasin (Elias)!" 130 That is how We reward those who do good. 131 for he was truly one of Our believing servants! 132 Lot, too, was among the Messengers. 133 We rescued him and his whole family, 134 except for an old woman who remained behind. 135 Then We annihilated the others. 136 and you pass by them in the morning 137 Or at night. Then how is it you do not understand? 138

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
