We also favored Moses and Aaron 114 And We delivered them and their people from (their) Great Calamity; 115 We succoured them, and they gained the upper hand (against their enemies). 116 And We gave them the divine writ that made [right and wrong] distinct, 117 and guided them the straight way, 118 And We perpetuated (praise) to them among the later generations. 119 Peace be upon Moosa and Haroon! 120 This is how We reward those who do good: 121 They were two of Our believing servants. 122 Verily Elias is one of the apostles. 123 (Call to mind) when he said to his people: “Will you not fear Allah? 124 Do you worship Ba`al and abandon the Best Creator. 125 "Allah, your Lord and Cherisher and the Lord and Cherisher of your fathers of old?" 126 But they rejected him, and they will certainly be called up (for punishment),- 127 except for God's sincere servants; 128 And We perpetuated to him (praise) among the later generations. 129 "Peace be upon Elijah and his followers!" 130 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 131 For he was one of our believing Servants. 132 AND, BEHOLD, Lot was indeed one of Our message-bearers; 133 We rescued him and his whole family, 134 Except an old woman (his wife) who was among those who remained behind. 135 and then We utterly destroyed the others: 136 and, verily, [to this day] you pass by the remnants of their dwellings at morning-time 137 and at night. Will you then not understand? 138

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
