Again (of old) We bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron, 114 And saved them and their people from great distress, 115 And helped them, so that they became the victors; 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture; 117 And We guided them on the straight path. 118 and left them thus to be remembered among later generations: 119 'Peace be upon Moses and, Aaron!' 120 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 121 Surely both of them were among Our believing servants. 122 And indeed Ilyas is one of the Noble Messengers. 123 He said to his people, "Have you no fear [of God?] 124 Do you call upon Baal and forsake the Best of the Creators? 125 "Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they cried him lies; so they will be among the arraigned, 127 Except the chosen bondmen of Allah. 128 And We kept his praise among the latter generations. 129 "Peace be on Elijah and his people!" 130 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 131 He is indeed one of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 132 So also was Lut among those sent (by Us). 133 [So mention] when We saved him and his family, all, 134 Except an old woman, who became of those who stayed behind. 135 then We destroyed the others, 136 And lo! ye verily pass by (the ruin of) them in the morning 137 and night: will you not take heed? 138
