We also favoured Moses and Aaron, 114 And We delivered them and their people from (their) Great Calamity; 115 and succoured them, so that [in the end] it was they who achieved victory. 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture; 117 and guided them upon the Straight Path. 118 And We left for them [favorable mention] among later generations: 119 Salamun (peace) be upon Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron)!" 120 This is how We reward those who do good: 121 they were among Our believing servants. 122 Verily Elias is one of the apostles. 123 When he said to his people, “Do you not fear?” 124 Do you call upon Ba'l and leave the best of creators - 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients?' 126 Then they belied him, so verily they are to be brought up. 127 except the sincere servants of God. 128 And we left for him among the later folk (the salutation): 129 'Peace be upon Elias!' 130 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers, who perform good deeds totally for Allah's sake only - see V. 2:112). 131 For he was one of our believing Servants. 132 Lot was also one of the messengers. 133 Behold, We delivered him and his adherents, all 134 except an old woman who lingered, 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by their desolate habitations in the morning 137 and night: will you not take heed? 138
