Al-Saaffaat 4 of 5
And, indeed We gave Our Grace to Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron). 114 And saved them and their people from great distress, 115 and We helped them, so that they were victorious; 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture; 117 And showed them the right path. 118 And We kept their praise among the latter generations. 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 This is how We reward those who do good: 121 Verily the twain were of Our bondmen believing. 122 And verily, Iliyas (Elias) was one of the Messengers. 123 when he spoke [thus] to his people: "Will you not remain conscious of God? 124 Do you call on Baal, and abandon the Best of creators? 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers?" 126 But they called him a liar, therefore they shall most surely be brought up. 127 Except the chosen creatures of God. 128 We preserved a good name for him among posterity. 129 Salamun (peace) be upon Ilyasin (Elias)!" 130 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 131 He is truly among Our faithful devotees. 132 And verily Lut was of the sent ones. 133 When We saved him and his household, every one, 134 except for an old woman who remained behind. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by them in the morning 137 And during the night; so do you not have sense? 138
