And certainly We conferred a favor on Musa and Haroun. 114 And delivered them and their people from the great affliction. 115 And We helped them, so they were the vanquishers. 116 We gave them the explicit Book, 117 And We led the twain on unto the straight path. 118 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon on both of them in the latter (generations), 119 'Peace be upon Moses and, Aaron!' 120 This is how We reward the virtuous. 121 Surely both of them were among Our believing servants. 122 And indeed Ilyas is one of the Noble Messengers. 123 when he said to his people, 'Will you not be godfearing? 124 Do you call on Ba'lan (the idol Baal) and abandon the Best Creator, 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers?" 126 They called him a liar. Thus, all of them will suffer torment 127 Except the sincere and devoted Servants of Allah (among them). 128 And We left (this blessing) for him among generations (to come) in later times: 129 Peace be unto Elyasin. 130 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 131 Lo! he is one of our believing slaves. 132 And verily, Lout (Lot) was one of the Messengers. 133 When We delivered him and his followers, all-- 134 Save an old woman among the lingerers. 135 Then We destroyed the rest [i.e. the towns of Sodom at the place of the Dead Sea (now) in Palestine].
