We certainly bestowed Our favor upon Moses and Aaron 114 And We delivered them and their people from (their) Great Calamity; 115 And We helped them, so they were the vanquishers. 116 and We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 And guided them to the Straight Path. 118 And left (their remembrance) for posterity. 119 Peace be on Musa and Haroun. 120 This is how We reward those who do good: 121 for those two were truly among Our believing servants. 122 And Ilyas was most surely of the apostles. 123 When he said unto his folk: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 124 “What! You worship Baal (an idol) and leave the Best Creator?” 125 "Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they gave him the lie: and therefore they will most surely be arraigned [on Judgment Day,] 127 except the sincere servants of God. 128 And We left for him (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 129 Peace be upon Ilyas! 130 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 131 He is indeed one of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 132 And Lut was most surely of the apostles. 133 We saved him and all his kinsmen, 134 except an old woman who was among those that stayed behind; 135 Then We annihilated the others. 136 You pass by (their ruined town) in the morning 137 and night: will you not take heed? 138

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
