We also favored Moses and Aaron 114 And delivered them and their people from the great affliction. 115 We helped them and they were victorious. 116 And We gave them the explicit Scripture, 117 And guided them to the Straight Path. 118 And We left for them (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 119 Salamun (peace) be upon Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron)!" 120 This is how We reward the virtuous. 121 Verily! They were two of Our believing slaves. 122 And indeed Ilyas is one of the Noble Messengers. 123 He asked his people: 'Do you not fear (Allah)? 124 Do you worship Ba`al and abandon the Best Creator. 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 They denied him, and will surely be brought to punishment, 127 except for God's sincere servants; 128 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon him in the latter (generations), 129 "Peace be upon Elijah and his followers!" 130 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 131 surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 And verily Lut was of the sent ones. 133 When We saved him and his household, every one, 134 Except an old woman who was one of those who stayed behind. 135 Then We totally destroyed the others. 136 Verily, you pass by them in the morning. 137 And by night: will ye not understand? 138
