Again (of old) We bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron, 114 And delivered them and their people from the great affliction. 115 And We helped them, so they overcame (their troubles); 116 And We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 guided them to the right path, 118 and left them thus to be remembered among later generations: 119 Salamun (peace) be upon Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron)!" 120 That is how We reward those who do good. 121 Indeed they are two of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 122 And indeed Ilyas is one of the Noble Messengers. 123 Behold, he said to his people, "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 124 "Will you call upon Ba'l (a well- known idol of his nation whom they used to worship) and forsake the Best of creators, 125 God your Lord and Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they gave him the lie: and therefore they will most surely be arraigned [on Judgment Day,] 127 Except the bondmen of Allah sincere. 128 And We left his (memory) for posterity. 129 Salamun (peace) be upon Ilyasin (Elias)!" 130 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 131 Indeed, he was of Our believing servants. 132 And indeed, Lot was among the messengers. 133 Behold, We delivered him and his adherents, all 134 except for an old woman who stayed behind, 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 and you pass by them in the morning 137 and at night, will you not understand? 138
