And We indeed did a great favour to Moosa and Haroon. 114 And We saved them and their people from the great affliction, 115 We succoured them, and they gained the upper hand (against their enemies). 116 and We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 And We guided them on the straight path. 118 and perpetuated their praise in later generations. 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 121 for those two were truly among Our believing servants. 122 And lo! Elias was of those sent (to warn), 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not fear Allah? 124 "Will ye call upon Baal and forsake the Best of Creators,- 125 "Allah, your Lord and Cherisher and the Lord and Cherisher of your fathers of old?" 126 But they cried him lies; so they will be among the arraigned, 127 except the chosen servants of God. 128 And We left for him (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 129 Peace be on Ilyas. 130 It is thus indeed that We reward those who do good: 131 he was among Our believing servants. 132 Lot, too, was among the Messengers. 133 We saved him and all his kinsmen, 134 Except an old woman (his wife) who was among those who remained behind. 135 Then We annihilated the others. 136 Verily, you pass by them in the morning. 137 and in the night; will you not understand? 138
