And We verily gave grace unto Moses and Aaron, 114 And saved them and their people from great distress, 115 And We helped them, so that they were the victors; 116 We granted them a Clear Book, 117 And showed them the right path. 118 And We left for them (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 119 Peace be on Musa and Haroun. 120 Thus do We reward the righteous ones. 121 For they were two of our believing Servants. 122 Surely, Elias too was among the Messengers. 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Would you call on Baal and leave the best of creators, 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your ancestors of yore.” 126 They denied him, and will surely be brought to punishment, 127 Except the bondmen of Allah sincere. 128 And We kept his praise among the latter generations. 129 "Peace upon Elias." 130 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 131 Verily, he was one of Our believing slaves. 132 And indeed, Lot was among the messengers. 133 (Call to mind) when We delivered him and all his kinsfolk, 134 Except an old woman (who was) amongst those who tarried. 135 and We destroyed the rest. 136 You pass by their ruins morning 137 and by night. Will you not, then, use your reason? 138

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
