We certainly bestowed Our favor upon Moses and Aaron 114 And We saved them and their people from the great distress; 115 We succoured them, and they gained the upper hand (against their enemies). 116 And We gave them the explicit Scripture, 117 And guided them to the Right Path; 118 and left them thus to be remembered among later generations: 119 "Peace upon Moses and Aaron." 120 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 121 truly they were among Our faithful servants. 122 And verily, llyas was one of the sent ones. 123 Behold, he said to his people, "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 124 Do you call on Ba'lan (the idol Baal) and abandon the Best Creator, 125 "Allah, your Lord and Cherisher and the Lord and Cherisher of your fathers of old?" 126 But they denounced him as a liar, so they will surely be arraigned (for punishment), 127 except the sincere worshipers of Allah. 128 And We left for him [favorable mention] among later generations: 129 'Peace be upon El Yaseen' 130 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 131 Surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 Lot too was one of the Envoys; 133 When We saved him and his family, all, 134 Save an old woman among the lingerers. 135 Then We annihilated the others. 136 You pass by their ruins morning 137 Or at night. Then how is it you do not understand? 138
