And We verily gave grace unto Moses and Aaron, 114 And We saved them and their people from the great affliction, 115 And We helped them, so they were victorious. 116 We gave them the enlightening Book, 117 And guided them to the Straight Path. 118 And We left for the twain among the posterity: 119 Peace be unto Musa and Harun. 120 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 121 Verily! They were two of Our believing slaves. 122 And indeed Ilyas is one of the Noble Messengers. 123 when he spoke [thus] to his people: "Will you not remain conscious of God? 124 Do you call upon Baal and forsake the Best of the Creators? 125 “Allah – Who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?” 126 But they denounced him as a liar, so they will surely be arraigned (for punishment), 127 Except the chosen creatures of God. 128 And We left for him among the posterity: 129 Salamun (peace) be upon Ilyasin (Elias)!" 130 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 Lot, too, was among the Messengers. 133 Recall what time We delivered him and his household, all. 134 Save an old woman among those who stayed behind; 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by their desolate habitations in the morning 137 and at night.
