And We verily gave grace unto Moses and Aaron, 114 And We saved them and their people from the great distress; 115 And helped them, so that they became the victors; 116 We granted them a Clear Book, 117 and guided them in the straight path, 118 And We left for them among the later folk (the salutation): 119 Peace be unto Musa and Harun. 120 This is how We reward the virtuous. 121 They were two of Our believing servants. 122 And indeed, Elias was from among the messengers, 123 When he said to his people: Do you not guard (against evil)? 124 "Will ye call upon Baal and forsake the Best of Creators,- 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers?" 126 But they denounced him as a liar, so they will surely be arraigned (for punishment), 127 Except the chosen bondmen of Allah. 128 And We left (this blessing) for him among generations (to come) in later times: 129 "Peace be upon Elijah and his followers!" 130 This is how We reward the virtuous. 131 Indeed, he was of Our believing servants. 132 Lot was also one of the messengers. 133 [and so,] when [We decreed the doom of his sinful town,] We saved him and his household, 134 Except an old woman who was one of those who stayed behind. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 and you pass by them in the morning 137 And during the night; so do you not have sense? 138
