And We verily gave grace unto Moses and Aaron, 114 And rescued them and their people from the great calamity. 115 And We helped them, so they overcame (their troubles); 116 And We gave them both the Book that made (things) clear. 117 And guided them to the Right Path; 118 And We left (this blessing) for them among generations (to come) in later times: 119 Peace be unto Musa and Harun. 120 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 121 Surely both of them were among Our believing servants. 122 AND, BEHOLD, Elijah [too] was indeed one of Our message-bearers 123 Behold, he said to his people, "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 124 Call ye upon Bal and forsake the Best of creators. 125 “Allah – Who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?” 126 But they rejected him, and they will certainly be called up (for punishment),- 127 Except the chosen slaves of Allah. 128 And We kept his praise among the latter generations. 129 Peace be with the followers of Elias. 130 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers, who perform good deeds totally for Allah's sake only - see V. 2:112). 131 He is truly among Our faithful devotees. 132 And lo! Lot verily was of those sent (to warn). 133 We rescued him and his whole family, 134 except for an old woman who stayed behind, 135 and then We utterly destroyed the others: 136 and you pass by them in the morning 137 and at night.
