And We indeed did a great favour to Moosa and Haroon. 114 and We saved them and their people from the awesome calamity [of bondage,] 115 And We helped them, so they overcame (their troubles); 116 And We gave them the explicit Scripture, 117 And showed them the straight path, 118 And We kept their praise among the latter generations. 119 Peace be unto Musa and Harun. 120 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 121 For they were two of our believing Servants. 122 And indeed Ilyas is one of the Noble Messengers. 123 when he said to his people, 'Will you not be godfearing? 124 Do you call upon Ba'l and leave the best of creators - 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients?' 126 They denied him, and will surely be brought to punishment, 127 Save single-minded slaves of Allah. 128 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon him in the latter (generations), 129 'Peace be upon Elias!' 130 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 131 He was among Our believing worshipers. 132 Lot was certainly a Messenger. 133 When We delivered him and his followers, all-- 134 except for an old woman who stayed behind, 135 Then We annihilated the others. 136 and, verily, [to this day] you pass by the remnants of their dwellings at morning-time 137 and at night.
