And We did certainly confer favor upon Moses and Aaron. 114 And We saved them and their people from the great affliction, 115 And helped them, so they were victorious. 116 And We bestowed the clear Book to both of them. 117 and guided them in the straight path, 118 And We left for the twain among the posterity: 119 Peace be unto Musa and Harun. 120 Thus do We reward the righteous ones. 121 truly they were among Our faithful servants. 122 AND, BEHOLD, Elijah [too] was indeed one of Our message-bearers 123 He said to his people, "Have you no fear [of God?] 124 “What! You worship Baal (an idol) and leave the Best Creator?” – 125 “Allah – Who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?” 126 But they denied him, so they surely will be haled forth (to the doom) 127 But not the servants of Allah, the purified ones. 128 And We left for him (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 129 Peace be unto Elyasin. 130 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers, who perform good deeds totally for Allah's sake only - see V. 2:112). 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 And indeed, Lot was among the messengers. 133 When We rescued him and his entire household. 134 except for an old woman who remained behind. 135 Then We destroyed the rest. 136 and you pass by them in the morning 137 and by night. Will you not, then, use your reason? 138
