Verily We bestowed Our favours on Moses and Aaron 114 And We delivered them and their people from (their) Great Calamity; 115 And helped them, so that they became the victors; 116 We gave them the explicit Book, 117 guided them to the right path, 118 And left (their remembrance) for posterity. 119 Peace be unto Moses and Aaron! 120 Thus do We reward the doers of good 121 Verily! They were two of Our believing slaves. 122 And Ilyas was most surely of the apostles. 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not be mindful of God? 124 Do you call on Ba'lan (the idol Baal) and abandon the Best Creator, 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers?" 126 But they cried him lies; so they will be among the arraigned, 127 except the sincere servants of God. 128 And We left for him among the posterity: 129 "Peace and salutation to such as Elias!" 130 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 Verily Lot was one of the apostles, 133 We saved him and all his people, 134 except for an old woman who was among those that stayed behind. 135 We then destroyed the others. 136 You pass by (their ruined town) in the morning 137 and night: will you not take heed? 138
