Al-Saaffaat 4 of 5
And We verily gave grace unto Moses and Aaron, 114 and We delivered both of them and their people from the great calamity. 115 And We helped them, so that they were the victors; 116 And We gave them the explicit Scripture, 117 And We led the twain on unto the straight path. 118 And We left for them (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 119 Peace be on Moses and Aaron. 120 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 121 they were among Our believing servants. 122 And verily, Iliyas (Elias) was one of the Messengers. 123 He told his people, "Why do you not have fear of God? 124 Will ye cry unto Baal and forsake the Best of creators, 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers?" 126 And they denied him, so indeed, they will be brought [for punishment], 127 excepting only [those who were] God's true servants; 128 and him We left thus to be remembered among later generations: 129 'Peace be upon El Yaseen' 130 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 So also was Lut among those sent (by Us). 133 [and so,] when [We decreed the doom of his sinful town,] We saved him and his household, 134 except an old woman who was among those that stayed behind; 135 Then We destroyed the rest [i.e. the towns of Sodom at the place of the Dead Sea (now) in Palestine]. How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
