We were indeed gracious to Moses and Aaron, 114 And We saved them and their people from the great affliction, 115 And helped them, so that they became the victors; 116 And We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 And showed them the right path. 118 And We kept their praise among the latter generations. 119 "Peace and salutation to Moses and Aaron!" 120 Thus do We reward the doers of good 121 They were two of Our believing servants. 122 So also was Elias among those sent (by Us). 123 When he said to his people, "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Do you call on Baal and abandon the Best of Creators, 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients?' 126 But they rejected him, and they will certainly be called up (for punishment),- 127 excepting only [those who were] God's true servants; 128 And We left for him [favorable mention] among later generations: 129 "Peace upon Elias." 130 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers, who perform good deeds totally for Allah's sake only - see V. 2:112). 131 He was among Our believing worshipers. 132 And indeed Lut is one of the Noble Messengers. 133 when We delivered him and his people all together, 134 Except an old woman who was one of those who stayed behind. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by their ruins morning 137 Or at night. Then how is it you do not understand? 138
