And We indeed did a great favour to Moosa and Haroon. 114 and We delivered both of them and their people from the great calamity. 115 And We supported them so it was they who overcame. 116 We gave them the enlightening Book, 117 and guided them in the straight path, 118 And We left for the twain among the posterity: 119 Peace be unto Moses and Aaron! 120 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers - see V. 2:112). 121 Surely they were both of Our believing servants. 122 Elias was certainly a Messenger. 123 He asked his people: 'Do you not fear (Allah)? 124 Do you call on Baal and abandon the Best of Creators, 125 who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they called him a liar, therefore they shall most surely be brought up. 127 except Allah's chosen servants. 128 and We left for him among the later folk 129 "Peace upon Elias." 130 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers, who perform good deeds totally for Allah's sake only - see V. 2:112). 131 Verily he was one of Our bondmen believing. 132 And verily Lut was of the sent ones. 133 When We rescued him and his entire household. 134 Except an old woman who was among those who lagged behind: 135 then We destroyed the others, 136 And indeed you pass over them in the morning. – 137 And at night; do you not then understand? 138
